SILVER GELATIN PRINTS + PAINT

 

 

Revolving around the themes of dreams and subconscious, this series aims to convey the notions of randomness and serendipity by the use of double exposures over the entire length of a filmstrip. By hand-tinting selected frames from a randomly constructed negative, the endlessly reproducible photographic prints are turned into unique objects. 

 

Situated in an ambiguous state between still and moving image, A Constellation of Dreams is trying to make sense out of the surreal patterns that emerge.
