Mimosa Elo (born 1991) is a Finnish photographer and gallerist currently based in her hometown Loviisa.
Her projects focus mainly on domestic spaces and inner worlds - and the relationship between these. For personal work Mimosa's medium of choice is often black and white film coupled with a medium format camera. The photographs she makes can be described as having a sense of stillness and contemplation.
In 2017 Mimosa graduated from University for the Creative Arts, Rochester (UK) with a degree of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) First Class. She has exhibited work both in Finland and abroad, and some of her prints are held in private collections in Finland and Germany. In April 2018 she was 'Young Artist of the Month' at Gumbostrand Konst & Form. Since October 2020 she runs her own gallery, Galleri Emilie, located in heart of Loviisa.
Mimosa is also available for commissions regarding interior, still life and portrait photography.
